Utah, need an excuse to eat ice-cream for dinner?

Ute marching band dad and new reader Roger informed me that Cold Stone is donating 10% of their sales from stores in the Salt Lake valley to the Ute Marching Band. It doesn't take a lot to encourage me to eat ice-cream for dinner but a worthy cause should be enough to push the skeptics. And don't use the whole new year's resolution diet excuse because they have a really tasty no fat sweet cream flavor that is delicious with fruit . . . or brownies. If you are in the Salt Lake area would you please stop by Cold Stone for me?

Thanks for posting this notice for Cold Stone.
My wife and I went last night (53rd & State location) at about 8:00 and had to wait about 30 minutes to get to the counter. LOTS of people wearing red and supporting the Marching Band.
ABC4 News is reporting as of 10:00 p.m. last night (1/13/09) that they have reached their goal!!

Update - KSL.com posted a story late this morning that USANA has agreed to cover the remaining funds needed to get the Utes Marching Band to Washington, D.C.!
Woo-hoo! "Utah Man" on Pennsylvania Avenue!

I believe the fundraising efforts had netted a figure very close to $150,000 by late last night. So USANA will be kicking in enough to get them to the $154,000 that seems to be the new amount listed.
